Important game to mention about took place in Copenhagen. Fifth ranked SISU (2-6) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Amager (3-6) 77-76 on Sunday evening. SISU forced 20 Amager turnovers. Guard Iben Bendix (165-2002) stepped up and scored 16 points and 5 assists for the winners and Emilie Ravn (176-2000) chipped in 19 points. Five SISU players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international center Rikke Fabricius (186-1992, college: CMU) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Ena Viso (177-1993, college: S.Dakota St.) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Amager's coach Diego Lopez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SISU maintains fifth place with 2-6 record. Amager lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with six games lost. They share it with Aabyhoj. SISU will play against league's second-placed Herlev on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Amager will play against Aabyhoj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
