Not a big story in a game in Malmo where 10th ranked NUBF (2-7) was outplayed by fourth ranked Malbas (5-2) 97-42 on Sunday. Malbas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to NUBF's 18. Malbas forced 20 NUBF turnovers and outrebounded them 53-21 including a 20-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by NUBF's players. It was a great evening for center Lukas Landgren (203-1995, college: Nova SE) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 8 rebounds. Peter Moller helped adding 15 points and 8 assists. Four Malbas players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tage Mattsson responded with 17 points and Julian Baltatzis scored 8 points. Malbas have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. NUBF lost third consecutive game. NUBF at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Kalmar 2. Malbas will meet Kalmar 2 (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. NUBF will have a break next round.
