Very predictable result when sixth ranked Ponferrada (7-4) defeated at home 11th ranked Talavera (3-8) 87-72 on Saturday. Ponferrada forced 21 Talavera turnovers. The best player for the winners was naturalized Argentinian power forward Juan Hierrezuelo (207-2000) who scored 18 points.
