No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Matelica (7-4) won against at home 14th ranked Cagliari (1-10) 63-47 on Saturday. They outrebounded Cagliari 51-37 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Benedetta Gramaccioni (174-1998) who scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Argentinian point guard Debora Gonzalez (170-1990, agency: Players Group) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists. Matelica's coach Orazio Cutugno used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
