No shocking result in a game in Tbilisi where sixth ranked TSU (4-4) edged bottom-ranked Mega (2-7) 81-78 on Sunday. Mega trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 17-4 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-81 at the end of the game. TSU forced 19 Mega turnovers. The former international point guard George Tsintsadze (192-1986) stepped up and scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and the former international power forward Beka Bekauri (209-1991, agency: BIG) chipped in 16 points and 12 rebounds. TSU's coach Leqso Lapanashvili used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was swingman Otari Buliava (198-1994) with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Marqus Gilson (196, college: CWU) scored 5 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists.
