Regular Season Round 11: TED Ankara - Cagdas BS 78-88

An interesting game for Cagdas BS (10-1) which played road game in Ankara against 4th placed TED Ankara (7-4). Second ranked Cagdas BS managed to get a 10-point victory 88-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of TED Ankara. Cagdas BS looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American point guard Chris Warren (177-1988, college: Ole Miss) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 7 assists. Hakan Yapar (202-1984) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) answered with 24 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Omer Kucuk (188-2001) added 9 points and 5 assists in the effort for TED Ankara. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cagdas BS have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Mersin. TED Ankara at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Final Spor. Cagdas BS is looking forward to face Yalovaspor (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. TED Ankara will play against Gemlik in Bursa and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
