Not a big story in a game in Thessaloniki where 7th ranked Koroivos (6-5) was defeated by fourth ranked Iraklis (8-3) 72-62 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for American swingman Kevion Taylor (196-1999, college: Valpo) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Nontas Papantoniou (192-1990) helped adding 15 points and 4 assists. Four Iraklis players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Stefan Mitrovic (195-1996) responded with 12 points and 5 assists and Kostas Iatridis (207-2001) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Iraklis keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Panerythraikos and AO Triton. Loser Koroivos dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. They share the position with Eleftheroupoli. Iraklis will meet bottom-ranked Kavalas (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Koroivos will play against Amyntas (#15) and hope to secure a win.
