Regular Season Round 11: Rilski - Levski 89-73

The game between Top Four teams took place in Samokov. Leader host Rilski (11-0) defeated 4th placed Levski (8-4) 89-73. Rilski made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Demajeo Wiggins (208-1997, college: BGSU) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Forward Alexandar Yanev (203-1998) chipped in 18 points. Four Rilski players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Lachezar Dimitrov (187-1999, agency: BIG) produced 16 points and 4 assists and the former international swingman Zlatin Georgiev (197-1985) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rilski have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Levski at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. Rilski will meet league's second-placed Balkan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Levski will have a break next round.
