There was a small surprise in Munich where twelfth ranked Arvato College Wizards (3-8) smashed 10th ranked Bayern (3-8) 83-58 on Friday. Arvato College Wizards made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Christian Rodriguez (180-1999, college: Cornerstone) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 assists and Christoph Rupp (195-1994) who added 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Christian Skladanowski (201-2004) with 15 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Luis Wulff (199-2004, agency: BeoBasket) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Arvato College Wizards moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with FC Bayern 2. Bayern lost fourth consecutive game. Arvato College Wizards will meet at home higher ranked Speyer (#10) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bayern will play against Ludwigsburg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
