EBL top team - WKS Slask (14-0) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Enea Zastal (7-7) in Wroclaw 85-78. WKS Slask shot 27 for 38 from the free-throw line, while Enea Zastal only scored eight points from the stripe. They outrebounded Enea Zastal 34-21 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American point guard Jeremiah Martin (189-1996, college: Memphis) notched 25 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and the former international power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-1997) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. WKS Slask's coach Andrej Urlep used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 16 points and 5 assists by swingman Przemyslaw Zolnierewicz (196-1995) did not help to save the game for Enea Zastal. Montenegrin forward Alen Hadzibegovic (207-1999, agency: BeoBasket) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. WKS Slask have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-0 record. Loser Enea Zastal keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Spojnia. WKS Slask will meet Sokol (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Enea Zastal will play against Legia (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
