Regular Season Round 11: H.Petah Tikva - E.Ramla 52-85

Very expected game when 9th ranked H.Petah Tikva (2-9) was crushed at home by third ranked E.Ramla (7-3) 85-52 on Monday. E.Ramla held H.Petah Tikva to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.3 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded H.Petah Tikva 51-30 including a 39-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. E.Ramla looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by H.Petah Tikva's players. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was forward Emma Cannon (190-1989, college: FSC) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Shakira Austin (196-1999, college: Ole Miss, agency: LBM Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. Four E.Ramla players scored in double figures. Guard Kenisha Bell (175-1994, college: Minnesota) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and forward Mikayla Cowling (188-1996, college: California, agency: LBM Management) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. H.Petah Tikva's coach Roie Levin gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion moved-up to second place. H.Petah Tikva lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. E.Ramla will meet at home Hertzliya (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. H.Petah Tikva will play against Ramat Hasharon and hope to secure a win.
