Rather predictable result in Aarhus where third ranked Randers (12-3) smashed 7th ranked BAC (6-10) 90-71 on Friday. Randers forced 23 BAC turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Josh Fortune (196-1994, college: Colorado) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. American-Mali swingman Bakary Camara (201-1998, college: Bridgeport) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Fortune is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Randers players scored in double figures. Guard Silas Oriane (185-2005) produced 24 points and guard Marius Kirkholt (193-1997) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Randers moved-up to second place, which they share with Bakken. BAC lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with ten games lost. Randers will meet at home league's leader Naestved in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BAC will play against Svendborg (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
