No shocking result in a game when third ranked Loko Plzen (10-5) defeated at home 7th ranked Liberec (5-10) 91-85 on Friday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Loko Plzen made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Loko Plzen had a 33-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Martin David (195-1997) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists and center Karel Ausprunk (202-1994) who added 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side point guard Vladimir Korinek (175-2002) responded with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Josef Prihonsky (188-1993) scored 14 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four Liberec players scored in double figures. Loko Plzen maintains third position with 10-5 record having four points less than leader Svitavy, which they share with Polabi. Newly promoted Liberec keeps the seventh place with ten games lost. Loko Plzen will meet Chomutov (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Liberec will play against the league's second-placed GBA Lions and hope to secure a win.
