Regular Season Round 15: Wusterhausen - Bargteheide 90-94

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Bargteheide (7-6) beat 11th ranked WSG Koenigs (2-12) in Wildau 94-90 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Jeremy Ingram (183-1991, college: AAMU) who led the winners and scored 39 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Center Vladimir Migunov (195-1993) accounted for 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. American point guard Jeremy Lewis (185-1986, college: St.Thomas, TX) came up with 24 points and swingman Dennis Teucher (200-1996) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for WSG Koenigs in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. WSG Koenigs' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Bargteheide. Newly promoted Bargteheide maintains seventh place with 7-6 record. Loser WSG Koenigs keep the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Bargteheide will meet at home league's leader Neustadt TSV in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. WSG Koenigs will play against Berlin BG 2000 (#4) and hope to secure a win.
