Regular Season Round 15: Fellbach - Kronberg 99-44

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Fellbach (11-4) outplayed at home bottom-ranked Kronberg (0-15) 99-44 on Saturday. Fellbach well out of reach of Kronberg shooting 73.5 percent from the field. They outrebounded Kronberg 35-11 including a 30-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fellbach shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Kronberg's players. It was an exceptional evening for Lithuanian point guard Tauras Ulevicius (190-1997) who led the winners and scored 12 points and 8 assists. Center Andreas Kronhardt (205-1989) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Five Fellbach players scored in double figures. Fellbach's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Frederik Fischbach (182-2002) came up with 9 points and naturalized Eritrean forward Jonathan Mesghna (198-1989, college: MSUB) added 9 points respectively for Kronberg in the defeat. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Fellbach. They maintain third place with 11-4 record having just three points less than leader Saarlouis, which they share with Mannheim. Kronberg lost their fifteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 15 games lost. Fellbach will meet Giessen Ak. (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kronberg will play against Reutlingen and hopes to get finally their first victory.
