Everything went according to plan in Aarhus where third ranked Bakken (12-3) outscored 5th ranked Herlev (9-6) 95-66 on Saturday. Bakken dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Herlev's 32. They outrebounded Herlev 44-23 including a 12-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Gustav Knudsen (204-2003) who scored 25 points. International forward Darko Jukic (199-1990) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. American forward Eamonn Joyce (208-1997, college: SNHU, agency: One Motive Sports) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and the former international point guard August Haas (187-1997, college: St.Edward's) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Bakken. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Randers. Loser Herlev keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Bakken's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Aarhus .
