Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Nicosia: ENAD (#4) and Keravnos (#6). Keravnos was defeated at home 28-38 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It looked good early as Keravnos took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then ENAD took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 10 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Keravnos to just 3 points in fourth quarter and to 9 points in second half. ENAD held Keravnos to an opponent 14.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 20.7 percent accuracy of the winners. ENAD forced 29 Keravnos turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Athina Papagianni (170-1995) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Natia Athanasiou (173-1995) who added 5 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was naturalized British Chrystalla Merkouri (182-1975) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds and Vasiliki Pousiapake (176-2005) scored 0 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. ENAD maintains fourth position with 4-8 record. Keravnos at the other side still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
