An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Dnipro. Leader Budivelnyk faced 4th placed Dnipro. Guests from Kyiv (15-0) defeated host Dnipro (10-5) 69-61. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-16. But Dnipro won second period 16-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Budivelnyk made 20-of-21 charity shots (95.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Dnipro turnovers. Strangely Dnipro outrebounded Budivelnyk 36-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for the former international forward Volodymyr Koniev (203-1989) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 5 rebounds. The former international point guard Pavlo Burenko (184-1990, agency: BIG) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Budivelnyk players scored in double figures. The former international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (205-1989) answered with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard Maksym Zakurdaev (196-1993) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Dnipro. Dnipro's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Budivelnyk have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-0 record.
