Very predictable result when second ranked Malbas (8-2) beat on the road 7th ranked Nassjo 2 (4-8) 75-70 on Saturday. Malbas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Nassjo 2's 34. Malbas forced 23 Nassjo 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 37-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. Guard David Terins (192-1995) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ahmed Abdi chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Malbas' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Hampus Andersson responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Isak Eriksson scored 16 points and 5 assists. Malbas have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Newly promoted Malbas maintains second position with 8-2 record behind leader Djurgarden, which they share with Umea 2. Nassjo 2 lost fifth consecutive game. Nassjo 2 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. Malbas will meet at home Marbo (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Nassjo 2 will play against the league's leader Djurgarden (#1) in Stockholm and hope to secure a win.
