Everything went according to plan when first ranked Empoli (12-2) outscored at home 10th ranked RO SAzzurra (4-10) 82-33 on Sunday. Empoli dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to RO SAzzurra's 24. Empoli forced 26 RO SAzzurra turnovers and outrebounded them 52-19 including a 24-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 2 passes made by RO SAzzurra's players.
