The biggest surprise of round 20 was guest Iskra Svit's (10-9) road victory over Lucenec (#5) 89-86 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was Brazilian forward Kayo Goncalves (203-1999, college: USA) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). American point guard Tavon King (180-1997, college: Cumberland) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). American guard Tahj Eaddy (188-1996, college: USC) produced 22 points and his fellow American import point guard Tyrik Armstrong (178, college: Texas Southern, agency: MSG) added 13 points and 10 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Lucenec players scored in double figures. Iskra Svit moved-up to third place. Lucenec at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Komarno. Iskra Svit are looking forward to face Inter Bratislava (#4) on the road in the next round. Lucenec will play against the league's leader Spisski Rytieri and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
