There was no surprise when 5th ranked Lorient (11-9) was defeated at home by third ranked C'Chartres (14-6) 81-67 on Saturday. C'Chartres dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Lorient's 22 and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. C'Chartres looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized Guyanese forward Gide Noel (200-1993) who scored 22 points and 5 assists.
