There was no surprise in Kielce where 13th ranked AZS UJK (4-16) was crushed by second ranked Energa W-wa (16-2) 107-76 on Wednesday. Energa W-wa outrebounded AZS UJK 61-30 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by AZS UJK's players. Jakub Szumert (205-2005) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Norman Zuber (194-1994) chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Energa W-wa players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Jakub Lewandowski (190-1992) with 27 points and 5 rebounds and guard Piotr Losiak (186-2008) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Energa W-wa have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Pruszkow and Przemysl. AZS UJK lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 16 games lost. Energa W-wa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. AZS UJK will play against Zyrardow (#6) and hope to secure a win.
