The game in Kedainiu supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked LSU-Kaunas (10-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Kedainiu (5-8). LSU-Kaunas smashed Kedainiu 90-54. LSU-Kaunas forced 42 Kedainiu turnovers. Strangely Kedainiu outrebounded LSU-Kaunas 48-34 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international guard Dovile Luksiene (174-1992) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 10 steals for the winning side and forward Vestina Keburyte (182-2001) accounted for 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four LSU-Kaunas players scored in double figures. Loreta Sulimaite (172-1998) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and center Agne Antanaviciute (186-1994) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Kedainiu in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. LSU-Kaunas have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain third place with 10-2 record having just ten point less than leader Alytaus. Newly promoted Kedainiu keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. LSU-Kaunas will play against Akmenes P. (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kedainiu will play against Druskininku and hopes to get back on the winning track.
