The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Saarlouis (15-4) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Fellbach (14-4) 77-72. It was a good game for point guard Zaire Thompson (180-1995, college: Fordham) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Center Andreas Kronhardt (205-1989) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American center Jordan Camper (203, college: Lincoln, PA) replied with 29 points and 8 rebounds and Matthias Meier (195-1997) added 8 points and 5 assists in the effort for Saarlouis. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fellbach have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 14-4 record having just two points less than leader Saarlouis. Saarlouis at the other side still keep top place with four games lost.
