Rather predictable result in Vasteras where sixth ranked Aros (8-6) defeated 8th ranked Jamtland 2 (6-7) 71-67 on Saturday. Aros forced 20 Jamtland 2 turnovers. Simon Wahlberg fired a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Tonny Dabaugh chipped in 14 points and 4 steals. Guard Ayanfeoluwa Amoran (190-2006) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and guard Anton Boethius (188-1996) added 6 points and 15 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aros moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Akersberga. Loser Jamtland 2 dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Aros will meet AIK 2 (#9) in the next round. Jamtland 2 will play against RIG Lulea and hope to secure a win.
