Regular Season Round 21: Pardubice - Hradec Kralove 71-65
Date: January 28, 2023
There was no surprise when 11th ranked Hradec Kralove (4-16) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Pardubice (13-8) 71-65 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Pardubice looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international forward David Pekarek (203-1996, college: Fordham) stepped up and scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Croatian-Bosnian center Robert Rikic (219-1990, agency: AltusBasket) chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds. Pardubice's coach Dino Repesa used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Serbian-Swedish point guard Aleksa Solevic (190-1993, agency: 011 Sports) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and Croatian Marko Prskalo (201-1998) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Pardubice have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 13-8 record, which they share with Usti n/Labem. Hradec Kralove lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Pardubice will meet at home Usti n/Labem (#5) in the next round. Hradec Kralove will play against NH Ostrava (#8) and hope to secure a win.
