Very predictable result when second ranked Getxo (11-4) beat at home 14th ranked Valladolid (2-13) 88-75 on Sunday. They outrebounded Valladolid 40-24 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Getxo looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Valladolid's players. Worth to mention a great performance of center Asier Gonzalez (198-2000) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and center Jon Diez (198-1998) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Getxo players scored in double figures. At the losing side Pablo Martin (199-2001) responded with 28 points and 5 steals and forward Inigo Mayorga (194-2003) scored 17 points.
