We should mention about the upset which took place in Nokia, where Nokia lost at home to Korihait 61-68 on Wednesday. Nokia was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 22-12 charge of Korihait, which allowed them to win the game. Canadian forward Prince Oduro (203-1998, college: Detroit) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Nick Stampley (198-1999, college: Troy) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Korihait players scored in double figures. Korihait's coach Tero Vasell used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Johnathan Stove (193-1995, college: Louisiana, agency: One Motive Sports) responded with 24 points and his fellow American import forward Malik Benlevi (198-1997, college: Georgia St., agency: Verus Management) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Korihait will meet at home Honka in the next round. Nokia will play against Pyrinto in Tampere and hope to secure a win.
