Serie A top team - Milano (14-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat tenth ranked Trieste (8-10) 65-59. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Trieste. Puerto Rican-American point guard Shabazz Napier (185-1991, college: UConn) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and French forward Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (201-1995, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 12 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Skylar Spencer (206-1994, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Emanuel Terry (206-1996, college: LMU) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-4 record, which they share with Virtus BO. Trieste at the other side dropped to the ninth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Venezia. Milano will play against Varese (#5) on the road in the next round. Trieste will play against Tortona (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
