No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Bursaspor (9-8) won against at home 8th ranked Tesvikiye (6-11) 82-73 on Sunday. Bursaspor forced 23 Tesvikiye turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Berk Akin (188-2005) who scored 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Unal Cardak (-2006) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Bursaspor players scored in double figures. Berkay Terzi (-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and Kutay Odabasi (-2004) added 19 points respectively for the guests. Tesvikiye's coach Gokay Kiziltug rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bursaspor moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Pinar Karsiyaka. Loser Tesvikiye dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Buyukcekmece and Aliaga Petkim. Bursaspor will meet Pinar Karsiyaka (#4) in the next round. Tesvikiye will play against Petkim Spor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
