Regular Season Round 26: CSKA U23 - Enisey-2 86-65

There was no surprise in Moscow where 9th ranked Enisey-2 (7-23) was crushed by fourth ranked CSKA U23 (21-9) 86-65 on Sunday. CSKA U23 dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2's 32. CSKA U23 forced 21 Enisey-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 44-32 including 20 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Daniil Klyuchenkov (199-2004) scored 16 points and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and center Daniil Abramov (205-2006) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. CSKA U23's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Point guard Yaroslav Zaporozhets (183-2002) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Ivan Karasev (196-2004) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. CSKA U23 have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Lokomotiv-2. Enisey-2 lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 23 games lost. CSKA U23 will meet at home bottom-ranked Samara-2 (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Enisey-2 will play against Lokomotiv-2 in Krasnodar and hope to secure a win.
