We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Thessaloniki where 6th ranked Kolossos HH (8-7) was defeated by seventh ranked PAOK (9-7) 89-82 on Saturday. PAOK shot 28 for 40 from the free-throw line, while Kolossos HH only scored eleven points from the stripe. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Dutch guard Yannick Franke (197-1996) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Jaylen Hands (191-1999, college: UCLA, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Chris Coffey (201-1997, college: Georgetown, KY, agency: One Motive Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Kendall Smith (190-1995, college: OK State) scored 6 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. PAOK moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Kolossos HH dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. PAOK will meet Promitheas (#7) in the next round. Kolossos HH will play against the league's leader Olympiacos and hope to secure a win.
