The game between closely ranked teams ended with 12th ranked Ludwigsburg's (4-14) road loss to eleventh ranked Arvato College Wizards (6-11) 80-95 on Saturday. Arvato College Wizards shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. American point guard Christian Rodriguez (180-1999, college: Cornerstone) fired 39 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Swedish forward Karl Drammeh (203-1999, college: E.Wyoming) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Arvato College Wizards' coach Rouven Roessler allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Naturalized Cypriot Aeneas Jung (203-2002, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and Nico Santana Mojica (196-2002) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Arvato College Wizards moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Rist Wedel and OrangeAcad. Newly promoted Ludwigsburg keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Arvato College Wizards will meet higher ranked Coburg (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ludwigsburg will play against Skyliners II (#5) and hope to secure a win.
