There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Asker Aliens (5-19) defeated at home 7th ranked Ammerud Bskt (10-14) 82-77 on Monday. Asker Aliens looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Asker Aliens made 7 blocks. American guard Abdullah Yusuf (188, college: Fredonia St.) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Ludvig Bergh (177-1998) supported him with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. Asker Aliens' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 27 points and 16 rebounds by Swedish swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-1995) did not help to save the game for Ammerud Bskt. American forward Bryan Battle (196-1999, college: FHU) added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Asker Aliens maintains tenth position with 5-19 record. Ammerud Bskt lost third consecutive game.
