Regular Season Round 22: Limoges CSP - Le Portel 115-69

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Limoges CSP (16-6) smashed at home 17th ranked Le Portel (2-20) 115-69 on Tuesday. Limoges CSP dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Le Portel's 32. Limoges CSP forced 27 Le Portel turnovers and outrebounded them 35-18 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Le Portel's players. Point guard Hugo Desseignet (175-2003) scored 20 points, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Mali forward Mohamed Sidibe (196-2002) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Limoges CSP players scored in double figures. Limoges CSP's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side guard Antoine Sobczak (187-2002) responded with 23 points and 9 assists and Cameron Valcy (192-2003) scored 19 points. Limoges CSP maintains fourth position with 16-6 record. Le Portel lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with 20 games lost. Limoges CSP will meet at home league's leader Cholet in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Le Portel will play against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#7) and hope to secure a win.
