Regular Season Round 18: Groningen - Den Bosch 65-77

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Groningen (10-8) was defeated at home by top-ranked Den Bosch (18-0) 77-65 on Tuesday. Den Bosch shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kobe Webster (183-1999, college: Nebraska) who scored 19 points. Norwegian forward Chris-Ebou Ndow (201-1993, college: NW Missouri St.) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Den Bosch players scored in double figures. Den Bosch's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Vernon Taylor (191-1987, college: Troy) who recorded 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import forward Clay Mounce (201-1998, college: Furman) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
