Regular Season Round 16: Chomutov - USK Praha 76-115

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Chomutov. Top-ranked USK Praha faced 4th ranked Chomutov. Guests from Praha (16-0) smashed host Chomutov (10-7) 115-76. USK Praha shot 64.2 percent from the field and made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. USK Praha outrebounded Chomutov 34-22 including a 26-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Najai Pollard (180-1997, college: Delaware St.) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Michaela Krejzova (184-1998) added 9 points and 4 assists in the effort for Chomutov. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Chomutov's coach Jozef Resetar gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. USK Praha have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-0 record. Chomutov at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. USK Praha will play against bottom-ranked U19 Chance (#10) in Strakonice in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Chomutov will play at home against Slavia (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
