Regular Season Round 11: BS Riga - RHKK 72-48

EYBL U20 top team - Latvian BS Riga (13-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Estonian RHKK (9-6) 72-48. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of RHKK. It looked good early as RHKK took a 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then BS Riga had a 22-13 second period charge getting the lead and RHKK was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 48-72. They dominated on the defensive end, holding RHKK to just 7 points in third quarter. BS Riga forced 20 RHKK turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of power forward Armands Gailiss (207-2004) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Davis Skreivers (201-2003) who added 10 points and 4 assists during the contest. BS Riga's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Mykhail Kutcheriayvi with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Latvian guard Rinalds Timma (192-2003) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. BS Riga have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-3 record. RHKK at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
