Second Stage Round 2: Vysocina - Chomutov 58-89

Everything went according to plan in Jihlava where Chomutov outscored Vysocina 89-58 on Sunday. Chomutov shot 61.1 percent from the field. The best player for the winners was swingman David Zikla (203-1998) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Guard Simon Gareis (183-1999) chipped in 11 points. Four Chomutov players scored in double figures. Chomutov's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Dominik Plesingr (188-2000) produced 14 points and forward Ondrej Manak (198-1986) added 18 points respectively for the hosts. Chomutov will meet Pardubice on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Vysocina will play against SP Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
