Second Stage Round 6: Snakes Ostrava - Tygri Praha 57-78

The game in Ostrava supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Tygri Praha (11-9) played at the court of 7th ranked Snakes (2-18). Tygri Praha smashed Snakes 78-57 on Sunday. Point guard Vojtech Zeithammer (150-2005) notched 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Martin Najemnik (158-2004) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Tygri Praha players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 9 rebounds by guard Matej Rotrekl (185-2004) did not help to save the game for Snakes. Forward Tomas Macura (200-2005) added 14 points and 8 rebounds. Tygri Praha keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Pelhrimov and Opava. Loser Snakes keep the seventh place with 18 games lost. Tygri Praha will meet at home league's leader Opava in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Snakes will play against Slavoj (#6) in Litomerice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
