Higher League top team - Rivne (12-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Che-Basket (2-10) in Czernowitz 102-56. The game without a history. Rivne led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Che-Basket to just 6 points in third quarter. Rivne dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Che-Basket's 38. Rivne forced 22 Che-Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 55-30 including a 39-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Che-Basket's players. The winners were led by guard Victor Lemishko (205-2001) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and center Ilya Ozimkovsky (204-2002) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Rivne players scored in double figures. Rivne's coach Mikhail Pereverziy felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 25 points by guard Nikita Tsurkan (185-2001) did not help to save the game for Che-Basket. Forward Valentin Goma (192-2006) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Rivne have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-0 record. Che-Basket lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with ten games lost.
