Eighth-ranked Gran Canaria 2 (9-13) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Palma (13-8) in S'Arenal on Wednesday. Palma managed to secure only two-point victory 88-86. However their fans expected easier game. Palma outrebounded Gran Canaria 2 49-29 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Gran Canaria 2 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin center Milan Suskavcevic (209-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field).
