There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Paris (9-13) beat on the road higher ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (10-12) 86-76 on Saturday. Paris made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Paris outrebounded Gravelines-Dunkerque 41-18 including a 32-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Tyrone Wallace (196-1994, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Forward Aamir Simms (203-1999, college: Clemson) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Justin Robinson (170-1995, college: Monmouth) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists and point guard Kenny Boynton (188-1991, college: Florida) added 21 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Paris moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Gravelines-Dunkerque dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Strasbourg. Paris will meet higher ranked SIG Strasbourg (#11) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Le Mans and hope to secure a win.
