Regular Season Round 20: NUBF - Malbas 71-75

There was no surprise in Norrkoping where 8th ranked NUBF (4-13) was defeated by second ranked Malbas (13-3) 75-71 on Sunday. Malbas dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to NUBF's 22. Malbas forced 25 NUBF turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Peter Moller who helped to win the game recording 27 points and Ahmed Abdi who added 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Malbas' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Jacob Hadi responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Adam Massarsch (-2005) scored 25 points. Newly promoted Malbas maintains second position with 13-3 record having five points less than leader Umea 2. NUBF lost fourth consecutive game. NUBF at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with KFUM Fry. 2 and Kalmar 2. Malbas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. NUBF will play against Marbo (#4) and hope to secure a win.
