The game between Top Four teams took place in Oradea. Second ranked host Oradea (11-1) defeated 3rd ranked Rapid (9-3) 88-71. The game without a history. Oradea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Oradea outrebounded Rapid 38-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Josh Bostic (196-1987, college: Findlay, OH) who helped to win the game recording 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import point guard Erick Neal (178-1995, college: UT Arlington) who added 14 points and 5 assists during the contest. Neal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Oradea players scored in double figures. Oradea's coach Cristian Achim used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American Tyler Stone (203-1991, college: SEMO) responded with 21 points and Montenegrin center Filip Barovic (206-1990, agency: 011 Sports) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Oradea have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Cluj Napoca. Rapid at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Oradea is looking forward to face league's leader Cluj Napoca at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rapid's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bucuresti to the arena Dinamo B..
