No shocking result in a game when second ranked Hamar (20-5) beat at home 5th ranked Selfoss (12-13) 94-85. They outrebounded Selfoss 118-98 including a 76-63 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hamar players were unselfish on offense dishing 49 assists comparing to just 28 passes made by Selfoss' players. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Selfoss were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Slovenian point guard Mirza Sarajlija (187-1991) stepped up and scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and guard Alfonso Soruson (198-2000) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds.
