Dinamo B. (#5) was upset in Bucuresti by eighth ranked Sibiu 84-67. The game without a history. Sibiu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sibiu outrebounded Dinamo B. 36-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winners were led by American forward Monyea Pratt (196-1985, college: Stillman) who scored that evening 8 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists and Argentinian point guard Gaston Whelan (187-1994) supported him with 20 points and 4 assists. Sibiu's coach Tomas Rinkevicius allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 12 points and 6 rebounds by American forward Donte Ingram (199-1996, college: Loyola, IL) did not help to save the game for Dinamo B.. Nigerian-American center Andy Ogide (206-1987, college: Colorado St.) added 13 points for lost side. Four Dinamo B. players scored in double figures. Sibiu (5-7) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Voluntari. Dinamo B. lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Craiova. Sibiu will play against Constanta (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Dinamo B.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bucuresti Rapid.
