Important game to mention about took place in Zaragoza. Tenth ranked Obradoiro (11-11) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 14th ranked Zaragoza (7-15) 79-78 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zaragoza. Obradoiro made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Zaragoza 39-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian guard Kassius Robertson (190-1994, college: Missouri, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 6 rebounds. British-Canadian Thomas Scrubb (199-1991, college: Carleton, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. American guard Justinian Jessup (201-1998, college: Boise St.) replied with 20 points and center Aday Mara (220-2005) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Zaragoza. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Obradoiro moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Rio Breogan. Zaragoza at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Granada. Obradoiro will play against higher ranked Tenerife (#4) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Zaragoza will play against Rio Breogan (#9) in Lugo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
