Very expected game in Joniskis where 14th ranked Neptunas-Akv. (8-30) was defeated by tenth ranked Delikatesas (17-21) 86-77. American center Corey Boyd (206-1998) notched 26 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Brazilian swingman Fernando Salsamendi (194-1996, college: Ave Maria) supported him with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Boyd is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds by Matas Repsys (205-2002) did not help to save the game for Neptunas-Akv.. Aringas Brazauskas (206-2003) added 13 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Alfredas Kaniava rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Delikatesas moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Silute and Rytas 2. Neptunas-Akv. at the other side stay dead last with 30 lost games.
